Travel & Race with the Pros at IM Arizona & IM Florida
September 20, 2014
Travel & Race in the US with some of the best Pros on the circuit. RaceQuest are offering two amazing, fast courses to all Race force customers & followers.
Both races are flat and described as beginner-friendly, yet also offering more advanced athletes the opportunity to PB or even use one of these races as "redemption" as they both fall in November, late in the race season.
Highlights for Ironman Florida:
There are two former Champions attending this small-group race experience, Jessica Jacobs and Andrew Starykowicz. Jessica won the race in 2010 and 2011, and in 2011 set a new course record with an 8:55. She's raced Florida several times and loves to share her knowledge on IMFL. Jessica will conduct the athlete Q&A and features on the course previews.
Andrew Starykowicz is red hot in the sport at the moment. He's heading once again to Kona and is this month's cover story in LAVA Magazine. "Starky" is the current long course bike world record holder, a mark he set on this Florida course last year (4:02). Andrew will lead out a group bike ride/spin on the course.
For Ironman Florida, there will be no more than 25 athletes, so that everyone receives plenty of great personal attention from the team and pros.
Ironman Florida is all about fast course, natural beauty and great weather. Pristine, white sandy beaches, very reasonably priced accommodations (we can make recommendations), and some of the most creative and fun "aid stations" ever seen. It's typically a gorgeous race day, with enthusiastic crowds. The swim is in the Gulf of Mexico, and the bike course is one loop.
