Scott is a highly specialised musculoskeletal physiotherapist and one of the residents at The Running Works.
Scott has gained wide ranging experience in the area of musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy since qualifying with a first class degree in BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2005. He has a special interest in the management of running related injuries and has recently worked as part of a multi-disciplinary Sports Medicine Clinic at a large teaching hospital, where he established a Physiotherapy Running Gait Clinic. Scott has experience of working with a wide variety of sports, which includes the England Blind Cricket Team, Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Team and national level mixed martial arts and thai boxing competitors.
Scott is a keen distance runner with a marathon personal best of 2 hours 45 minutes. Prior to running, Scott competed at a national level in field hockey and Muay Thai where he held the WAKO Pro Super Featherweight north-west area title.
Scott joins a pretty incredible line up of experts that you can learn from, ask questions of and mingle with to get the most out of your evening.
