With race entries quickly selling out its hard to know what to do but these two great courses STILL have entries available online and they're two of our favourites! We have Race Tours, Training Weekends and BikeBus services wrapped around these little beauties so if you havent chosen your race yet, make it one of these greats!
Barcelona 70.3 - 22nd May
Like its big Brother IRONDistance, the 70.3 is also Located in the seaside town Calella 50km outside of Barcelona this is becoming a popular 70.3 as all those who dont get
into Mallorca 70.3 are defaulting to this race just two weeks later.
The open water sea swim is 1.9km and a single lap where you can actually see the bottom, the sea is that clear. The race has the new rolling start with everyone getting in the right time group for a less manic start.
The bike route is closed to traffic, 90km. Unlike the full distance it heads inland before returning to the town. It's a technical course with lots of narrow, windy descents.
The run is 21 km and a 2 lap course and on Calella Beach and follows the shores of the Mediterranean Sea to a turnaround at Santa Susanna. The atmosphere is amazing with the crowds cheering you on. The finish line like the start is also on the beach. We are based 100m from the start too perfect location.
Barce LONG Training Weekend: We're also using this race as some early season Long training for those taking on the IRONdistance course in October. For an amazing £265 you can spend two days munching miles on the course and even get invovled in the 70.3 as part of our relay teams. Great value early, warm season training with our team! Zell am See 70.3 - 28th August
Home of the incredible World Champs last year this is hands down the most beautiful race on the circuit and our absolutel favourite!
The scenery is amazing, set in the picturesque town of Zell am See and surrounded by glacial peaks and green meadows.
The 2 lap bike course is a joy, even with the 900metre climb and the technical descents, its just absolutely stunning and the 3 lap run loops along the lakeside and through the town for lots of local support.
There are lots of fantastic hikes & you can actually ski or board all year round so your support crews have lots of activities they can take part in.
We are located less than 20 meters from transition so it couldn’t be any easier!
